why I love hip-hop.

Wedding Day!
welp, today is the day! my beautiful fiance, Carmen, and I are getting hitched! Please be in prayer for us! We hope that people would learn more about Jesus, our blessed hope, through this occasion. In the words of Shai Linne, “not to us not to us but to Your name be the glory.” Amen.

So, here I am. 2 am on thursday morning…the day after tomorrow I will be getting married to my best friend, Carmen. I was praying last night, just thanking the Lord for his grace and mercy and blessings and somewhere in that, I said something to the effect of, “Lord, thank you that this weekend, I will be a husband.” and it dawned on me, In a matter of days, I will be a husband....

forgotten God
so, this week I started reading a book with my fiance. The book is called “forgotten God” by Francis Chan. the book is centered around the basic idea that we (christians/modern church) have forgotten about the holy spirit. The book is an attempt to challenge us (the reader) to re-evaluate ourselves and what we believe about scripture. We should believe ALL of scripture. every word....
